Within every living organism there is the natural power to “mature naturally”. This also applies to teams and organizations. The various participants thereby represent the various elements that can flourish together. Provided that the diversity is celebrated and is seen as the basis for being and becoming successful. The reality is unfortunately often different. A sense of insecurity, differences in interests and fear of conflict are well-known barriers to achieving healthy, “fluid” cooperation. People then entrench themselves in their own, individual positions, which is at the expense of the greater whole. Fear, prejudice, assumptions and the conviction to be right often play an important role in this. To get a team or organization in the direction of a natural “flow”, a number of conditions are neccessary. Firstly, the belief that the whole is really more than the sum of its parts. Every contribution is valuable to make each other stronger. The starting point is that nobody, as a person, places himself above or below the other, regardless of their role or position. Only then can the conversation and collaboration be conducted openly and respectfully and in a pleasant manner.
