When coaching people and teams, systemic constellations are often a valuable way to get new insights and explore desired solutions. In a systemic constellation, the various aspects around a question, such as people, organizational units or themes are “positioned” and represented by representatives. These representatives can be people, but also objects. Positioning these helps to visualize the system around a question. When people act as representatives, they give a voice to what they represent and apply their intuition when gaining insight and investigating solutions. Well-known applications of this approach are family and organizational constellations, but in fact, every system can be drawn up and every question examined in this way. Voice dialogue is, for example, a way of exploring your different subpersonalities and giving them a voice in a one-on-one coaching situation.
